About the Producer

Pago de Tharsys is a boutique winery located in Requena (Valencia) , one of the most important regions for high-quality cava production outside Penedès. Founded in the early 2000s, the estate is built around a historic country house (“Pago”) and focuses on small-production, high-quality wines that express both terroir and craftsmanship.

The vineyards are situated at altitude, benefiting from a continental climate with strong temperature variation between day and night , allowing grapes to ripen fully while preserving natural acidity — a key factor in producing elegant and balanced sparkling wines.

Pago de Tharsys is known for its hands-on, artisanal approach , controlling the entire process from vineyard to bottle. Harvesting is often done by hand, and the wines undergo careful vinification followed by traditional method aging, with many cuvées spending extended time on the lees to develop complexity and finesse.

The winery also stands out for its creative identity and attention to detail , from distinctive labels to unique cuvées, while maintaining a serious commitment to quality. Their range includes both fresh, approachable styles and more structured vintage wines, showcasing versatility and depth.
