Elegant, beautifully balanced and designed for wines that need space to open, the Zwiesel Glas Vervino Bordeaux glass brings a little sommelier-style elegance to the table.

Its generous 742 ml bowl gives structured red wines plenty of room to breathe. The shape allows aromas to develop while the slightly narrowing upper bowl helps concentrate them towards the nose. Zwiesel particularly recommends it for mature Bordeaux-style wines, where the large bowl allows the wine’s full character to unfold.

And despite its generous size, this isn’t a heavy-looking glass. The fine walls and long, slender stem give Vervino a light, elegant appearance — exactly what you noticed when we were correcting the product image.

It is particularly suited to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Malbec and Garnacha, as well as structured blends and mature reds. Zwiesel’s own recommendations extend from Bordeaux and Pomerol to Rioja, Priorat, Ribera del Duero, Barolo and Brunello di Montalcino.
