The Zwiesel Glas Echo Whisky Grande combines a beautifully simple, contemporary tumbler shape with one detail that makes it immediately distinctive: the wave pattern moulded into the base of the glass.

Inspired by sound waves, the textured base catches and reflects the light beneath the whisky, bringing out the amber and golden tones in the glass. Add a large ice cube and the effect becomes even more striking.

At 399 ml, the Whisky Grande has plenty of room for whisky served neat, over ice or with a splash of water. Zwiesel recommends it for Bourbon, Malt Whisky, Single Malt and Blended Whisky.

The straight, clean lines keep the design modern without becoming fussy, while the substantial base gives the glass a reassuring feel in the hand.

Made in Germany from Tritan® crystal glass, Echo is designed to combine brilliant clarity with the durability needed for regular use. And despite its polished appearance, the glasses are completely dishwasher safe.

🥃 Why the Shape Works

The wide 89 mm diameter gives the whisky room in the glass and makes the tumbler particularly comfortable for serving over a large ice cube.

Its straight-sided shape feels substantial and uncomplicated, while the heavy-looking base gives the glass visual weight.

But the real feature is underneath.

The distinctive sound-wave pattern in the base creates reflections through the whisky, emphasising its colour and giving the glass its signature Echo appearance. Zwiesel uses this wave design throughout the Echo collection.
