Polus Viura is a fresh and elegant white wine produced by Bodegas Loli Casado in the heart of Rioja Alavesa. Made from 100% Viura, it comes from vineyards planted more than 70 years ago, where low yields and traditional bush-trained vines produce fruit with remarkable concentration and character.

The grapes are harvested entirely by hand before undergoing a gentle 24-hour cold maceration. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at a low temperature to preserve the grape’s natural freshness and delicate aromas. The result is a beautifully balanced Rioja that is vibrant, expressive and wonderfully easy to enjoy.

On the nose, Polus Viura reveals aromas of tropical fruit, white flowers and ripe orchard fruit. The palate is fresh and smooth, with lively acidity, soft texture and a lingering finish that makes it an excellent companion for food as well as an enjoyable glass on its own.

About the Producer

Bodegas Loli Casado is a family-owned winery located in Lapuebla de Labarca, in the heart of Rioja Alavesa. For generations, the family has worked some of the area’s oldest vineyards, combining traditional viticulture with careful modern winemaking to produce wines that express the unique character of their terroir.

Many of their vineyards are planted as traditional bush vines and are more than 60–70 years old, producing naturally low yields and grapes of exceptional quality. Every harvest is carried out by hand to protect the fruit from vineyard to winery. Rather than chasing trends, Bodegas Loli Casado focuses on authenticity, allowing each variety and each vineyard to speak for itself through elegant, balanced wines that reflect the true character of Rioja Alavesa.
